The EDM is too loud. The bartender has zero personality. The food is good. The Atlantic Halibut needs a bit more flavor, the Brussels sprouts were mostly leaves, the bread was good, the mango semifreddo needed more mango or mango flavor. The mocktail was good.

The food was outstanding from start to finish. Each course was flavorful, well-balanced, and exceeded our expectations. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for an elevated dining experience, this place delivers. We thoroughly enjoyed our dishes and will definitely be returning.

What a wonderful culinary experience. My oh my the food here is everything you can expect from a top notch gastronomical delight. 1st The Surf n Turf was out of this world. The lobster sauce and chunks of crab took over, while the wagyu beef was just there. That dish was our favorite. 2nd The pork dish was similarly delicious. Yet portion size was not “large plate” size and mentioned in their menu. Despite asking our server about portion size of the same. He kinda sided with the menu but I can clearly disagree upon the plates arrival to the table. Hence the 4 stars in service. The cocktails were tasteful but had too much ice and/or not filled completely. We could have appreciated it more if our server would have told us that the kitchen closed at 9 p.m. ahead of time because we wanted to other another specialty roll. Last but not least Warm bread pudding was sweet, warm, crispy and tender with that precise amount of dark rum ice cream just lovely.

Simply put - this was the best meal we have had from beginning to end in a very long time. We both had drinks, and dessert - so it was on the pricy side - but I don't mind paying for food that is better than I can make it. The Brussel sprout dish was exceptional - best brussel sprout dish we've ever had - and the people on the table next to us agreed! Service was good - pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable about the items on all the menus. It's not white tablecloth fine dining - but that's ok with me!

From the moment I walked into Velvet Belly, I knew I was going to love it. I had a reservation but told the host I was happy to sit and wait at the bar. The bartender was incredibly friendly and handed me a drink menu right away. I ordered the Shark Bait cocktail and it was not only delicious, but beautifully presented, I actually had to send a picture of it to my friends. Since it was my first time there, I spent a little time just taking in the atmosphere. The only way I can describe the space is sexy and romantic. The ambiance really sets the mood for a fun night out. There were couples on dates, groups of friends catching up, and the whole room just had this lively but intimate energy. My sister arrived for her birthday dinner and the manager, Alexander, introduced himself and showed us to our table, which was a really nice touch. Our server Nicole was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. We decided to order a little bit of everything and it did not disappoint. The spicy roll, nine pieces of sashimi, and the SFG roll were all excellent. The Wagyu tartare was my personal favorite, absolutely incredible. The trumpet mushrooms were delicious, the
